Young Futures is a community interest company (company number 05962550) providing therapeutic, holistic support in community and residential settings. We are committed to providing a fair and transparent way of working, and in upholding the rights of individuals to their personal data.  We will never sell or rent your data.  We will only share it when you agree to this or when we are legally required to do so.

Visitors to our website

Our website uses cookies, small data text files, that are stored on users’ computers and devices when they access the website. We use cookies to tell us how visitors’ use our website and which web browser they are using, in order to help us improve our website services. The data is processed in such a way that it cannot be used to identify anyone.  You can choose to block cookies, by referring to your web browser instructions.

Data collection

In the future, website visitors who wish to make a donation to Young Futures, will be asked to submit their name, email address and payment details. This information will never to be used for any purpose other than processing the donation. Payment details will be processed by a secure third-party payment processor e.g. PayPal.

If you wish to contact us via our website, you will be asked to provide your name, email and contact number. In this instance, your details will be stored securely so that we can respond to your request and will not be used for marketing or other purposes, unless you have explicitly agreed to this.


Our 24-hour residential unit for vulnerable young people have CCTV security cameras and may make recordings of people entering and exiting the building. We store this data for no longer than two calendar months, unless there are safeguarding concerns, or a security incident has taken place. In this instance we may keep the footage for up to 6 months, after which time it will be deleted. If we suspect that a crime has taken place, we will share the relevant footage with the police. Information held by Young Futures

Young Futures holds information (including sensitive data such as health records) about the young people we work with. This information is passed to us by the local authorities we work with so that we can work effectively and safely in supporting vulnerable young clients. Working in a person-centred way is a core value at Young Futures and we endeavour to gain the agreement and input of young people in processing information about them.

Where they do not agree to this, we may need to process or share information anyway. This is so that we can fulfil our legal obligations in safeguarding the young people that we work with and their families.
